Poem -

Slipping Away

I found myself in a constant state of hate,
Sad to hear so many souls could relate.
I wondered and wondered why 'life' was so unfair,
and questioned whether anyone would ever actually care.
Everything appeared in shades of black and grey,
This happened daily as the colors began to fade away.
My heart went from a bright red to black like charcoal,
As I slipped away into the Dark Part of my Soul.Β
