‘Slow down tick tock’?

It’s Friday again, 
How an earth can this be so
‘Heaven’s above’
I’m sure it was Friday just a day or so ago

Have I been asleep?
Huh I wish that I had
But I’m not a great sleeper 
I have insomnia quite bad

‘Crikey Moses’ how can seven days have raced by so fast
I simply find it incredulous
A whole week has gone & past

Is it coz of my age ?
Eeh my Mother used to say the same
Haha she repeated heself like a parrot 
every Friday when it came

Slow down tick tock
I can’t keep up with you
You are flying by like a jumbo jet
No matter what I do

I realise its just me
Time can never stand still
But It gets me thinking
I should organise my will ?
