Slowly Rock Me

Slowly Rock Me

Wake me up from this reality

for I can't shake this intensity.

I've been at wars and fought far worse

But nothing compares to this ache in my soul

So slowly rock me, comfort this bleeding heart.

Bring me back from this nightmarish fears

for i can't stop this running tears

I've seen failures and thought far less.

But nothing completes with this drowning shakiness within my bone

Please slowly rock me, change this doubting heart.

Slowly rock me, make me whole again

Slowly rock me, remind me of who I am and what I'm made of.

Cleo.. I love how you begin this write.. " wake me up from this reality for I can't shake this intensity"  it is amazing how a person can be at their wits end and those who are close to you never see it or understand it..  I can't believe that the great minds of poetry has overlooked this write.. I love it.. A handful of stars my friend..
