Snowfall
Off-Head

Dark clouds form over the far off mountain peak,
An endless mist crawls down the evergreen treetops,
I can only stand and watch as the ominous coat of cold,
Condensation folds and frosts along my dreadlocks,
Memories of the white washed forest scream across my face,
As the cracked crusted layer crunches with every step,
Following the paved path led me down the slippery slopes,
Buried beneath my last hope crushing everything that’s left,
Ive awoken to the sounds of rustling winds and broken twigs,
Even the sky looks down upon me with its starry eyed judgmental gaze,
The sun has hidden itself as it does not wish to see what will become of me,
Something is watching with a piercing glow masked through the misty haze,
Coming ever closer to the last chapter of my sorry sad sonnet,
The condition of that decision will leave me fractured like fission,
Brought to the brink left with little time to think,
It seems my well has run dry as the page turns blank with invisible ink.
