Poem -

so little time

the dirt slips through my fingers

as night passes into day

watching the seasons as a turn of a page

how did i let the time get away

from being strong ,quick and tough

to old ,slow with a gray beardĀ

being looked up toĀ

now just lame and weird

how the days have passed

handling troubles with a peaceful touch

no longer punching or breaking roadblocks ahead

the anger has settled so much

hold on to the simple things

a laugh , a joke, or smile

there is only so many breaths u can takeĀ

life only lasts for a while
