Poem -

so many faces but he.

Maybe I am just silently waiting
For your face to appear
within the crowd
I long to see you, to feel you
Maybe one day you'll return to me
And those nights where tears
Drowned my soul
Whilst whispering your name
Within my ear
Will somehow fade away
And you
Only you Will cover my eyes
But open them to the light
The light I'm so lost without
Only then will life return to me
When it's your face I see.

Knowing what it's like to search a crowd for a lost love, I so connected with this poem.

Thank you kimmy, I know many who search the crowd for that one face they wish they could see, I know one day they will find it again, and so might you.
Much love nardine xox
