So you think you have learnt

Took the hard way as far as lessons where concerned.

Had to see rock bottom to climb myself out of it. 

Had to get out of it to see the lighter side of me. 

The struggler, the please love me, the abandoned that really doesn't make sense. 

Lessons life throws, lessons for a better or bitter you. 

Learn from mistakes, happy accidents, the brink that's never far away. 

This is what people say but hardly do. 

We tend to repeat not happy to be burnt just one. 

Once bitten twice shy, spoils it for the next. 

Lesson what's going on. 

Lessons are a strange way to make me think. 

Crush the box I trapped part of me in. 

Others teach if your listening, but there opinions don't count away your years, unless you let them. 

What can I tell you, lessons are hard learned.

Lessons what was the fucking point anyway, that I wasn't good enough, they weren't good enough, the situation was not good enough, that times where ruff. 

That you have to leave without your stuff. 

That they developed hate for you, that what was on offer was untrue. 

Lessons your a do your head in. 
In the end what have I  learnt. 

More than most less than few. 

My own experience of the makeup, how it corrupts or confuses. 

Development that's what so many people say about learning. 

Developing into what. 
A certain signature. 
A certain type. 
A person who recognized the traps and pit falls. 

The walls, passages, short cuts the lessons you never thought you needed to learn. 

But others wanted to teach you a lesson. 

To improve your knowledge of evil and good, of the takes one to know one.
