Thank you so much for your kind words. I wrote this for my aunt who recently died unexpectedly. My heart is so sad for your family and I cannot begin to imagine the horror of losing a child and therefore can offer no words of comfort without it seeming like platitudes. All I do know is that when my partner died suddenly, 3 years ago, I could't imagine how I could carry on living a normal life, but gradually the weight lifts little by little. It never goes away but it does become bearable. I will keep you in my thoughts and pray for the father's recovery.x

Indeed it can, but fortunately the human spirit is one of the most resilient things in creation and ultimately refuses to be beaten without a fight.
Maybe, another time, you may like to read 'Why?'
It was the first thing I wrote after his death, and a friend asked to read it at a family funeral of her own, so thought it may possibly resonate in some way to help you feel less alone.
Absolutely NO pressure. I'm not trying to tout my work lol. It just tells the story of my own personal journey through grief.x
