Poem -

Solace

Finding strength in my faults,
I am not perfect,
But I have found solace,
In the place I least expected.
Accepting that I am not like you,
And that's not ok,
Its better than that.

The highs and lows,
They're from another world,
A place you don't see.
Don't try to understand,
You will only fail,
But that's not your fault,
Your beauty lies elsewhere.

It's not personal,
When I don't invite you,
Not along this road.
This one I must walk by myself,
This is when I'm at my best,
This is where my beauty l Iies,
Alone.Β
