Solitary Confinement?

Solitary Confinement?

Tormented by his troublesome past
This hallowed heart of pain
Surrenders to it’s memories
It’s sadness does wax & wane

Too many bygone years has passed
Tho he strives to seek remedies
There is no help to heal this languish
A mindfulness of misplaced memories

Flashbacks of flawed recollections
Haunt this heartbroken soul
Orphaned as an infant
A collasal dismal hole

Never knowing kind conversation
Is there such a thing as love?
Solitary confinement
From all his elders up above

Histories hide blemishes
So callously cruel aghast
Just what went on in this orphanage
Was only recently broadcast

Escapism from timeless years of abuse
Only magnifies this sufferer’s sorrow
His scar’s, a tarnished battled,bruise
Little hope of an optimistic tomorrow
