Some days I miss you more than other days...
Some days thoughts of you makes me happy...
Some days thoughts of you makes me sad...
Some days my heart breaks all over again...
I miss our talks where we would sit and have a drink and you would remind me how strong I am...
Especially, when I feel a little weak...
I know how much you like chocolate...
Every Valentine's Day I would bring you a box of your favorite...
Though you probably knew it would arrive eventually...
You would always act surprised when you would open it...
The meaning behind this bear...
Is that it will last and whenever you look at it...
You know it came from a broken heart...

Valentine's Day used to be fun when I was a kid...
Exchanging cards with classmates and having sweet treats...
Now, that I am older...
Love should be everyday and I don't think that one day a year should be the reason for sweet romance...
So many people get married on Valentine's Day and I don't know...
It's like a big deal to receive flowers and maybe a dinner out...
To me there shouldn't have to be a day for that...
Everyday we should be kind like at Christmas and everyday we should love like it's Valentine's Day?

Why it's not Mother's Day I would tease back...
But, I always gave her a heart shaped box and I would say...

She would say...
You were at the store why didn't you pick yourself up one?
My Mother was a character when she wanted to get a reaction out of me...

My Mother was one of those visual type people for sure...
I really do hope she's in God's presence and being loved and also with my Brother and her family...
She needed to follow her heart...
The pain she felt was very strong...
She could handle a lot but, the death of my Brother was very difficult for her...
She didn't have to say it, but I think the cancer was her blessing...
She wouldn't ever consider killing herself...
I am a firm believer that there is power in your thoughts and what you speak outloud...
When she was in the end it was much too late for her to take any of it back...

I felt every word, My mother used to do this for
me give me chocolates on Valentines Day
and when i was young sent me Valentines cards
and sign them from guess who, I always knew it was her
but Never said :-)
