Poem -

Some Days Are Diamonds

Some days are diamonds, some days are stone
Words from a John Denver song
It definitely applies to real life situations
A lot of things can surely go wrong

They say it depends on which side of bed
You get up on and slip on your slippers
Sounds to me like a whole lot of hoola boola
You alone are the scale tipper

Can hear you now, “another rah rah poem”
Wake up happy, diddly doo!
Sure works for me and I'm nothing special
Why wouldn't it work for you

It's a dirty job but somebody's gotta do it
So I'm gonna keep sending them to you
Feel I was destined to spread the good word
To turn skies from grey to blue
