Something Magical

Some kind of wonderful,
To tantalise and tease,
A breath of fresh air,
A cool summer breeze,
Those warm summer nights,
When lovers walked hand in hand,
Serenading each other,
To the music of the jazz band,

On nights like these,
Cats come out from under cars,
To join us as we dance,
Underneath the stars,

To serenade,
To waltz in time,
There was something magical that night,
When your eyes met mine,
Our worlds collided for the every first time,

You put a spell on me,
That I could not let go of,
You touched my heart,
You gave me love.

Some kind of wonderful,
To tantalise and tease,
With just one look,
You melted my heart,
You brought me to my knees.
