Sometimes it is to late

Oh how I miss how you made me feel, something special without a doubt
Excited and anxious like when you see the food coming out
You always knew how to cheer me up when I was down
You'd give me that sexy smile, I'd give you a frown 
I'd stare at you from a distance, you acted like you didn't know
Every time we  had a chance to talk I'd get nervous and go
You took time and you were worth it
Can't  get enough of your smile, I bet it's still perfect 
I don't know what happened to us, guess things didn't work
When I gave you a smile,you gave me a smirk
I realized I wasn't good for you, you didn't seem to mind 
By the time I figured that out, I was already out  of time
