Somewhere in London

Far away
So far away
My mind now loves to go and play
Its cold
And damp there
The street old and gray
Yet, still
When my mind wanders
And my thoughts run away
They settle
Always there
So far away
Lost in the dark a secret shivers
An unkown future weeps
Out there somewhere
A blissful burden sleeps
A kind gentle spirit
And a mind made for exquisite filthy fun
I can taste him like tangled teardrops on the tip of my tongue
Submitting to his violent vocal vibrations
My weakening will is easily undone
Oh what sites to see once our journey has begun
And it awaits us, far away, somewhere in London
Faceless shuffling mindless masses
This spark of beauty is lost among
The soul of a melody sadly still stifled, still unsung
Stagnant, stale and stationary
But someday, to my den he will run
And wander lost no longer
Far away somewhere in London

Really great write, Twilla.
The emotion, and attraction really builds as the poem goes on.
Great writing! I really enjoyed that.
Good to see you back.
Matthew.
Thank you so much my sweetest ink bleeding friend! I plan to come around more now!
Awesome! My ink veins have been cauterized by numbing secretions of my lumpy brain, but I hope to spill more inkblood soon. lol.
Great to have you back!
Matthew.
Wow. I love this. Your word play is so stimulating. I found myself reading this over a second and third time. Pinned. <3
