Somewhere Under The Rainbows

For Marion Price’s Rainbow Challenge

Somewhere Under The Rainbows

With the beauty of a rainbow, there is nothing can compare;
Except when there are two of them, gleaming in the air!
The colors of their prisms, are the most beautiful known to man;
Juxtaposed against the azure, far as one’s eyes can scan!
.
The rainbows bring a promise, of riches soon to spend;
The pot of gold a metaphor, for happiness at their end!
Showers have changed to sunshine, we bask in golden rays;
Gazing at two royal majesties, exalting them with praise!
.
The maudlin day has ended, brightened by these two arcs;
One has a downpour of elation, having been rescued from the dark!
β€œSomewhere Under The Rainbows”, is where I’ll always be;
Absorbing what they are sending, such wealth and utter glee!
.
.
Under the rainbows
I will find my pot of gold
The wealth of pure joy
