A sonnet for Basil Fawlty

A sonnet for Basil Fawlty

This ol chap Basil Fawlty
He owned a hotel Torquay
Really so crazy haughty
His wife should hold the key
A slap of Manuel
A bet or two
Loose mouse unravel
This place a zoo
Deaf ladies,  mad chefs
Hotel inspectors unimpressed
Rooms with views of east and west
Time for Fawlty to stop the mess
Before Sybil has a mental
And the guests look elsewhere for Rental!
