S.O.S. Soulmate Oh Soulmate

My dear two precious soulmates, my islands in Saturnine Seas;
That I have shipwrecked and been cast into, since our Captain had to leave!
You saved me several times from drowning, in the oceans of my tears;
My Cody and My Linda, the two I love so dear!
Â
Yet more dark clouds are looming, for one of you I’ll lose;
In the not too distant future, I pray Fate much later will you choose!
But I dread the day so often, I cringe in fear of how it will be;
With only one of you beside me, when for so long there were always three!
Â
But I promise then to be “your island”, not let you drown in sorrow too;
Each day we’ll honor our dear lost soulmates, in everything we do!
We’ll cry our tears together, and hold each other tight;
Our dear love will then sustain us, from the morning through the night!

Hi Larry! Â I enjoyed this piece. Â The thread of hope and perseverance amidst impending loss is a perspective we can all relate to... Â Thanks for sharing!*!*!

Hi Jackie,
Thank you for your so insightful synopses of my poem, which was spot on to the emotions I was trying to portray. Â With the plethora of new poets coming on Cosmo every day, it is impossible to keep up with all of their works. Â It has been such a pleasure to meet you, and I am going to read some of your poetry by tomorrow. Â Thank you again for your lovely words.
Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
I agree, Larry, it's difficult to keep up on the works out here, especially with everyday commitments in mind. :) Â Appreciate you reading some of my contributions! Â Keep writing!*!*!

Hi  Larry Your poem is lovelyÂ
telling the worries of losing your Linda or Cody after losing Nico
 I think we all feel these fears after the loss of a loved one
A heartfelt write my friend which i can relate to

Â
My Dear Debs,
Thank you for your concerns, but the little soulmate who will leave us soon is Cody, who is now 14 years old. Â His longevity dwindles, as I still cry every day for my beloved Nico. Â I know when this dreaded day arrives, that Linda will be as equally devastated as will I.
Hugs, Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
Larry I am so sorry this was a typo it should have readÂ

Larry, my dear friend...
the fear of losing
must never rob us of  that
which is worth having
your friend & fan,

My Dear Friend Jason,
Thank you for your beautiful Haiku that says so much about not losing what you have today, by worrying about tomorrow.
To have is to hold
With losing that, fears augment
Love's loss will return
Peace and Love,
