Soul

Getting behind the wheel. No one in sight. Don't know where I'm headed. Stars shining bright. A road that leads no where. Endless Dark skies ahead. Taming the silence as if its the walking dead. The car has a mind of its own driving the winding path. My hands are steering upon it. Don't think I'm going back. Oceans to the left of me. Mountains to the right. Following the birds above that take off in flight. Salty Tears streaming down my face unknown image in the mirror. Someone looking back at me looks like fear feels like terror. Cant seem to stop this gnawing feeling that something will go wrong and there it is lights flashed before me as a truck comes head on. Don't remember much right after that. Just a spirit before me. Showing my past existence as it plays out in harmony. I see a light the very light people have said they have seen. Hands reaching out to touch me, a harp in the distance is a welcoming being. My heart fills with sorrow all the love I left behind. But One day. yes one day I will find them,show them a sign I am still present in the heart. soul and mind.
