A soul Captured

Pouring through my soul, relaxing my mind

Easing my pain, a glass at a time

Laying alone on a carpet of shades

As my body fills with numbness and slowly fades

My life captured in the taste of lime

As my soul floats in the mist of wine

I like the way you describe the experience. I like the melodic beat of a poem that rhymes.
