Winter's Lovely Slay
Walking alone through a town of faith
Watching the hearts bundle beneath the tress
Feeling left aside, no love to feel, no smile to give, no heart to heal
Lights brightening as carols feeds into one's soul
But loneliness dies into mind
A heart see's the cries
Welcoming a soul to be free, a heart opens to a soul of doubt
Snow leaks down, as a smile is not a frown
Wrapped around gifts and songs of day
A soul feels useful in a winter's lovely slay

I really liked it. I'm just wondering...301 people have viewed this and I am the only one to vote or leave a comment. There are so many others on this site with many views and absolutely no votes or comments. It makes me think there are a bunch of arrogant "master poets" who don't like anything. I don't want to rant, this is a nice poem.
Thanks. Your are absolutely correct.
