My life is lonely no time for hate, i will continue searching for my soul mate

my first attempt lasted 14 years, a child was born through joyous tears

as the many years go past, i knew the relationship would not last.

He wanted no part of the family scene, and to his son and i he was so mean

i could not allow him to hurt my son, so i decided that we would run.

While trying to start my life anew, came along relationship number two

it started off with style and flair, then trouble came beyond compare.

He started drinking way too much, then came the late nights, the lies and such

i caught him with another lady, the excuse he gave me was quiet shady.

He begged me for a second chance, i said not under any circumstance

so ended relationship number two, 2 more children and alone unsure of what to do.

Change jobs and relocate was the thing to do, and that's when i met my boo

thus the start of relationship number three, i liked the way he treated me.

As time passed he began to change, so my life again got rearranged

now it is just my children and me, i'm exactly where i need to be.

Financially unstable is how he left us, i'm doing my best to correct the muss

this hasn't been an easy thing to fix, with all that's been thrown in the mix.

 The last eight months there's been ups and downs, and keeping my head up so not to drown

i've talked to many online that's true, they all help me chase away the blues.

No harm, no foul, let's meet and chat, i set up the place and they leave me flat

i have had more no shows than meetings, and that makes my mind constantly fleeting.

There is one i've yet to meet, because he's not yet on the streets

behind the walls is where he lives, and of myself i will freely give.

He is not from the mid west, but i hope i'm able to pass his test

i will try to convince him to stick around, so i can show him what we found

After searching and searching i hope it's fate, i feel i have found my soul mate!
