Don’t worry about me, I’m not scared to leave

Celebrate my life when I’m no longer here

Laugh and share memories, a day full of cheer

We’ll plan the day together as if I’ll be there

I’d like to help you choose what outfit you’ll wear

Bright colours would be nice to match the theme of the day

You’ll always have your memories IT can’t take those away

I’d rather not have flowers, donate to charity instead

A colour theme would be nice, I’m quite partial to red

Everyone could wear something in the colour we choose

A scarf or a tie or even their shoes

Play foot tapping music to bring cheer to the crowd

 Maybe have a dance, not sure that’s allowed

I just want to know that you’ll be alright

I’ll be fine, I’ll be freed from the fight

Think about me often but not with a tear

An angel on your shoulder, I’ll always be near
