Soulful Bliss

Dedicated to our loved ones that are no longer in this world

Soulful Bliss

I know nothing I say can stop the pain and sorrow
I know nothing I say can stop your hurt and crying
I know nothing I say can take away that feeling
          But know this....
             That light inside
                That transcendental energy
                   The spirit soul
                                     Is FREE
                     Unattached
                  Liberated
Not bound to any material bondage
Not bound to any pain or sorrow
Not bound to birth, disease, old age or death
                              It is set FREE
                        To wonder
To go beyond the material world
         To go outside this realm
To go where it longs to be
       With the ultimate divine power
                      The supreme being
                         In true soulful bliss
                  Spiritually
             Eternally
        Endlessly

Hi Sarf. Thank you! I love your comment - words fell from the sky!! It came to me in the very early hours of the morning so I wrote it down and then edited tiny bits in morning. I really like this one. Thanks for the amazing comment friend!
I just recited this poem this evening via zoom during the evening prayers programme for my uncle that passed away that I had mentioned, he was in his 80s and lived a full life and the poem went down well with my family :) Px

Pratibha I'm so glad I found this and to read your uplifting poem filled with that great virtue called hope. A great and so heartfelt beautifully written poem.
I love the way you have constructed it too, for it feels as if any lucky reader is taken on a journey, a spiritual journey slowly and gently, all so softly twisting and turning upwards to a better brighter place.
Five stars and pinned for another worthy reread and thank you for writing and sharing.
Stay safe and I wish you well.

Hi Shaun. Thank you for those lovely comments and another fabulous pin! I love your analysis of it. This is my second spiritual write but this time I have been a little creative with layout too. Funny u shiuld mention the word journey - my first spiritual write is posted here called - the ultimate destination: journey of the soul!
I love playing around with words. It's so much fun.
I really wanted those words in bold to stand out so that's why I did it that way. Plus I have never been one to write in my sketchbook all on the left hand side so why should I digitally?!! So that's why I did it that way.
There is usually a reason for my poetic madness!!
I look fwd to reading your other poems. Stay safe and have a great day. Px💜

Beautiful wording, I loved the sense of drifting I got as I read this. And that’s all down to the clever structure of the piece ⭐️ As Einstein said “we are all made of energy, and energy cannot die”  this is a powerful poem which reminds us of what we are made of. Saved and pinned ✨👏🌻📌

Hello Gwen and thank you for those fab comments and amazing pin! This is my second spiritual write and I think I got better at it this time. Spirituality is one of my inspirations when writing they come hand in hand with philosophy and I love them both. It's kind of become my signature style of structure and writing now. I like playing with layout. I'm an artist first!!
And I love science..another fab inspiration of mine so the quote was just perfect in your comments!! Thank you Gwen 💜💜💜
