Poem -

Speak out

When your heart is heavy and your soul feels blue.
Just try to go somewhere new.
Look to the sky, the birds, the trees,
Sit on the grass and watch the bees.

Switch off your mind and read a book,
Draw something, write or even cook.
You can lift your spirits with a simple thing, like the smell of a rose, bloomed in spring.

Take a minute, try not to cry
Just sit and remember the reason why;
Why you are here and who loves you so,
Isn't that a reason not to go?

Your friends, they love you
And your family much more;
Come to the house,
Theres always an open door!

We are always here, to listen, to talk,
Why don't we just go for a walk?
Do some things you always liked?
Play pool, swim, a ride on the bike?

Please don't go, don't leave my side,
I understand, you don't have to hide.
I'm always here for you to confide,
so hold your head up and beam with pride.

Forget those woes,
Whatever they weigh
And remember dear,
It's ok to not be okay ?

Powerful write. This sentiment is shared by so many who have loved ones in pain. Really felt the pull in your words and the desire to see the other be okay. Well done.
Blessings, Rebecca
