Speakeasy

Speakeasy

Before to long we are gonna need a speakeasy
Just to express ourselves and speak freely
A place where you can speak your mind
That these thought police will never find

Imagine a place where you opinions can set out on the table
If you want to engage in a thought provoking conversation you are able
No one telling you what you can and can't say
Like most of the places out there today

The only real freedom any one has is there own thoughts
But now we are told we can not
I don't want to live in a space
Where silencing freedom of speech is a common place

So if we build it I'm sure they will come
Because I'm silenced so much I'm becoming numb
A place where we intelligent speakers can teach
The next generation to break the prohibition of free speech
