Spider Queen
Come myΒ cuisine, vitals so fresh
I hunger for sinew and flesh
Minions of multifold
Thirst for ones heart of gold
Look into these innocent eyes
Beauty shall hypnotize
Neon moon enthralling glow
Haunts dire forest below
Donβt run itβs much too late
Hush now, surrender to fate
Why so glum, what tis big deal?
Tis an honor to be next meal
I offer one mind-numbing kiss
Serenity for what seems amiss
Lips so intoxicatingly sweet
Renders one awestruck in defeat

Hopefully they don't eat is till we're dead ...love spiders but as I'm in UK where the most dangerous common species is the daddy long legs lol...I supposed I'm biased lol...love it x

I'm not a great fan of spiders but would neva harm one .. and would not want to be a fly on the wall when this one was around .. this is perfect on the run up to Halloween ..Β

The opening line sets the tone and in itself is wonderfully descriptive, the whole piece reflects yourskill with both rhyme and imagery a great read.
