Springtide

Beautiful melodies with song birds chime,
Rapture in canopy and blades of green.
Honey bees and butterflies in rhythm in time,
Rose buds and daffodils, nature pristine.

Sweet smells and unfolded bells,
Birds in flight in colourful plume.
Pearl drops of dew glisten in sunny spells,
Fay in spring weaves her loom.

Floret of rose and yellow,
Flourishing verdure under shades of blue.
Winter descends like an unwanted fellow,
Spring awakens swiftly on cue.
