Spurned

Spurned

Here I stand brokenhearted
Beloved tis dearly departed
Chains that bind shattered
Your demise tis what mattered

Offering heart to bird of prey
You didn’t need it anyway
Swim with fishes unfaithful bobber
I’ll just feed feathered hobnobber

Plucking bits like love me not
That raven binges good as it got
Toss nostalgia to fathomless sea
Nevermore spurn likes of me
