STARDUST

STARDUST

I am not a mere quantity of thoughts and desires
Nor I am a mere amount of liquid and cells.
In my dealings in the life I was given, I find meaning,
                                                           The meaning I place there!
I glance to the light passing through my eyes
Telling me how small and how brief I am here
And how I cannot understand it all.
I, then, lift my head and set the sails of my own voyage,
I push the waves, look for light and trust the winds.

Are we not all just clumps of vibrating atoms sticking near each other in the swerling chaos of improbability in the flaming torent of a massive explosion that we experience in slow motion as we indulge in our delusions of individuality? You are not small... child... you are the entire universe.
