Stargazing
I want to know what's out there
Far beyond the vast sea of stars
I want to believe life exists
And that one day I'll walk the surface of mars
I want to touch the sky
And see my home planet from the window
And meet the and learn about the species
That are out there lost in limbo
I want to know for sure if we are all alone
The only life in infinite galaxies
Probability tells me we are not
But it could be just a fantasy
If your out there in the stars
Looking up at the night sky
Wondering if there are others out there
Being told they are not , you do defy
And if somehow my words reach you
And you can understand what they mean
Know that I want meet you
And see the things you have seen
I hope one day to know the truth
To have contact be a fact
Because if I ever get the chance to go
You can bet I'm never coming back

I'm sure there are many inhabited planets out there, Luke, perhaps they are looking at us wondering what we're all about; I know for sure that humans are the most mysterious and weird race in the universe, I'm convinced 'they' are way more curious about us then we are of them....terrific write, great subject, enjoyed
Thank you so much Christopher
