STARS IN THE HEAVENS

The wounded places, the little tears
In the tapestry of my mind
Became stars in the heavens
That filled my galaxy and shined
God's amazing masterpiece
Displayed before all eyes t
It was the splendor of His handiwork
As I came to realize
He gave beauty and strength for ashes
He turned night, to day
He opened the heart, opened my eyes
To see things in a different way
Only God can take what was meant for harm
And turn it into gold
Heal a heart that once was broken
And reveal a new chapter, yet untold.
The stars up in the heavens
We don't question or ask Why?
We just behold it's beauty
In the night's evening sky
