Poem -

Static

I don’t know what to do with you.

You took up so much of my mind.

And now you can’t.

And now there’s static.

Because I can’t find something as significant as you to fill the same space.

Because I can’t even find the intuition to finish this rhyme.

Because I can’t.

Because there’s static.

Gina!  Static…that's exactly what it is…empty space that should have been filled with shared love and all the joys that come with loving and being loved.  Wonderful write!

it is such a hollow feeling.  i felt like i was going through that with you when reading the poem.  perfect imagery of heartbreak involved in your every day life.
