That time of year again 
Spooks and frights 
Pumpkins carved 
Scary sights 

Trick or treat
What will it be? 
Stay safe tonight wandering the streets 

Sugar and spice and all things nice 
Don’t accept what doesn’t seem to suffice 

Knock on the door wait, not so keen,
Not all appearances are all what they seem 

We know it’s tradition and it’s what’s always been done 
But just be careful and listen to your mum! 

Stay in a group, don’t stray away 
Don’t be the kid on the news, missing, the next day
