"Staying Clean"

"Learning from another,
how to recover,
could be the difference,
between life and death,
so stay in fellowship,
with good influences,
away from all that,
crystal meth.

Drugs are just traps.
Deep holes to fall in,
and as you use,
you trade sin for more sin.
You disobey God,
as your body,
the temple,
becomes unholy,
but there is a way,
to change your life story.

Learn from me,
change what you can change.
Don't go to another drug,
with a different name.
That's just trading,
a flame for another flame,
that will burn,
your hand eventually,
all the same.

Believe and work,
to appease God's Son.
Find serenity,
in the damage you've done,
and know it's in your hands,
so find the progress,
we've seen,
and do it today,
by staying clean!"
