STD of Society

STD of Society

Dipped my
Cuban ring
In a fountain
Youth
Synergy
Surges
Through
My veins

Smith and Wesson
Pops
In
The
Distance

Benjamins
Wage
War
Against
Unarmed
Victims

Glory hole
Spreads
Immorality
Like an
Aggressive
STD

YET
you wonder
why
Indifference
Ravages
The soul?

I heard from
You
And
You
Heard
From
Me

With
No
Substantial
Form
Of
Communication

Yes
We are
Crossing
Through
The
Desert
Of
Perversion

There is
A
Difference
Between
Inclusion
And
Drifting
Over
A line
That
We
Cannot
Return
From

The answer
Though
Lies
With
The tin
Man
Who
Mistakenly
Believes
He can
Now
Begin
To
Feel
Emotion

Greg! I am in awe of this write. I love love LOVE it!! I read it a few times and tried to pluck out a favourite part. But honestly couldn't because the entire piece sang to me. So much depth and clear cut thinking. I loved the use of the tin man to empathise that lack of emotion, and misconception that we are doing enough, and feeling. We do not care enough for our planet. The ONE thing that keeps our existence possible. Absolute wondrous write . Pined and all stars for an epic share

Gwen :)
