Stewed Tea

The camaraderie grew
Brewed like tea
that becomes bitter to the tongue
The birds lost their song
Amidst the folly strewn
from room to room
Swarms of minuscule storms
Danced to a fickle frenzy
of misplaced words
Built to curse the air
Where each dare
With an eyeless glare
To leave what once had bloomed...
Now bare
