‘Sticky Lined Web’‘

‘Sticky Lined Web’‘

Biding  time like Spider in a web
Waiting, collection,
of a veiled, eyed dead.
We're going around in circles
of faltering 'Hope.
Who's holding up the answers
at the end of this Rope'?
......................

Words are getting thicker
and harder to hear,
As echoes return, thrice unclear.
It seems that  people
aren't listening, you see,
To the haunting chorus of
'Together - Let Us Be'.
..........................

The answers in the wind,
but it's lost in deaf,
Can't you hear the rasping
of a tired world's breathe,
Yet! circle on 'Hope
go around  and around,
And meet me on the corner
when you gain more ground.
............................

Spider's got his eyes popping
at the stalk, staying so close
Clinging to sticky hope's walk,
as shredded down hope
tries to break free,
from the sticky lined web,
Of mankind's, blind -
'COMPLACENCY'

..............................

''Olivia  Johns Wright'
Mankind's, Blind  Complacency.....

Hey OLIVIA!!....... There's hope....... and you're right...... for the most part no one's listening...... or at least not doing anything about it...... Complacency does seem to be the order of the day........I LOVE the way you put ~

         ~ " Can't you hear the rasping of a tired world's breath..."

Mother nature's being hammered....... the threat of global nuclear war looms..... global warming's changing the geographical landscape....... while the corporations continue to greedily lap up power and money at any cost!!........ This is such a great choice for subject matter....... and the world could use a LOT more of the spotlight to shined on poems and information like this!!........ALL STARS!!........ profoundly powerful poetic prose dear poet sister!!........ well penned!!.......LOVE and ROCKETS!!.....T xo ???☀☀♥?

You spin a tangled web of words. People are the flies. The ones that listen avoid the silky threads of the web of deception. There is no east way out of the web after you get caught. Just one of the possible metaphors BOO sees here... what might had been, there is no short cut home. Hope. Sometimes there seems to be no hope. Words collect in the dust devil's circle of cyclonic disaster. Words carried away in a circle, the rasping
of a tired world's breathe,
The spider has many eyes that can not see. The blind man can feel the vibrations like the spider. When one sense goes, another grows and is more aware of its surroundings. A nice boutique of words that melt into the mind. BOO!

Thanks Rickey for your in-depth reviewing and analogies - very much appreciated ...
And yes! No easy way out, and no short cut home. cyclic, like hamster on a wheel.
I certainly can feel the vibrations -
As one, has to be brain dead, not to-
I like your use of dust devil...?
Ie: words collecting in the dust devils cycle of cyclonic disasters )
l guess! (maybe, where there is life,
there’s hope) Only time will  tell ✍️
