Poem -
Stifled love
where are those smiles so divine?Â
when days have flown from cherished handsÂ
how shall hearts ignite and chime?
when love is just a grain of sandÂ
the roses bloomedÂ
but found no lightÂ
left stifled in the darkÂ
their radiant colourÂ
lost to nightÂ
they gently fall apartÂ
oh silenceÂ
with your heavy holdÂ
oh distant falling star

how can I wish for love so bold
when love remains so far

this is a beautiful gentle verse...even sadly romantic with a lostness to it that shadows its sentiments exactly which are held entirely in that one amazing line above Gwen. I want to scoop the while thing up and give it a cwtch. One of your best here xx

This is just stunning! You have written a beautiful, beautiful verse here. I love the way it drifts into the mind as its read. There's a comforting feel about the rhyme scheme ... and excellent rhyming too. An exquisite piece of poetry x
