Poem -
Still I Rise
Im another brother rising up in the ranks with poetic lines,
cant help but show it theres no hidden light it always shines.
my minds eye just keeps opening up and releasing verses,
its no blessing in descise im just releasing what emerges.
you can say i trained my brain to make me do what i do,
if practice makes perfect then i guess that must be true.
cos ive created a tool that can work this special machine,
it turns these nuts an bolts into reality this aint no dream.
an all this work comes from just sitting here thinking,
like a boat ill always float theres no way that ill be sinking.
