Poem -

Stolen childhood

If you should find my childhood, can you tell it where I am?

It seemedĀ to have passed me by ,as if it didn't give a damn.

If I could see my childhood, I would show it who I've become,

I would make itĀ feel so guilty,Ā for all that can't be undone.

If you should see my childhood,Ā can you tell it I won't forgive,

It stripped me of identity, and made me not want to live.

I will one day face my childhood, and look him in the face,

I hope to hold my head up high and show him who is the real disgrace.Ā
