Stop Asking So Much

You ask so much of yourself everyday,

"Why can't I just be happy?"
As if it was that easy,
Give yourself some grace,
In time, all things will get better.

"Why must I cry all the time?" 
Crying doesn't make you weak,
It simply gets you ready to be strong again,
So let it out,
The pain will end.

"Why am I not good enough?" 
You are better than anyone who makes you think you are not,
Changing for people will never help you,
Please just understand that,
Be the best person you can and the right people will find you.

So, please,
Even on your worst days,
Stop asking so much of yourself,
You are enough. You will be happy. The tears will dry. A beautiful life awaits you.
