Had I Known

Had I known our last kiss was to be our last,
maybe I would have kissed you a little longer.

Had I known I was not going to wake up next to you again,
maybe I would have stayed in bed all day.

Had I known when I hugged you last I would never hold you again,
maybe I wouldn't have let go so soon.

But I didn't,
Now you're gone and I do believe,
its the last I'll ever see of you.

Had I known sooner,
maybe I would have asked you to stay a little longer.

Time is our Frenemy
