Storms

Storms

I whisper your name on the breeze
Hoping you hear when it reaches you
In the cool of the night...
When sleep Won't come
And thoughts muddle and race
And I am that indefinable longing
That eats away at your heart
I shout your name into the ocean
It swims with my tears
Under a milky moon that hangs
In a sky Heavy with imperceivable
Storms
Like the storm that rages in my soul
I cry your name at the break of the day
And the birds screech with me
I sleep fitfully
I eat haphazardly
I crawl through the day
I sprawl through the night
My life an endless abyss
And yours a mystery
