Stormy

A storm is coming
 
Dark skies
Winds high
Animals run scared
And hide
 
I snuggle up with my
Fluffy pillow
Watching as the rain falls
Pounding on my window
 
The rumbling of the
Thunder
Scares me a little as it
Gets louder and louder
 
Seeing the lightening
Strike here and there
Amazing how the sky
Lights up everywhere
 
The house starts to
Shake
Might be a tornado in
The make
 
Nope, just hail the size of
Golf balls
Watching as they break everything
In site as they fall
 
The storm is settling, now
Just light rain
The rain drizzling down my
Window pane
 
The storm is over
