Poem -
Stranger to your soul
You look in that glassÂ
you don't know who that isÂ
you study those eyesÂ
but they don't seem to move where you tell them toÂ
you study those lipsÂ
but they don't speakÂ
when you want them to
you look at your fingersÂ
they don't feel connectedÂ
you look at your legs
And watch them move onÂ
their ownÂ
you feel brokenÂ
you don't know who you areÂ
you don't know what you likeÂ
you fear yourselfÂ
when people speakÂ
you don't hearÂ
you go back-and-forthÂ
Like tug-a-warÂ
you know what's rightÂ
yet you choose the wrongÂ
and in the endÂ
Only you pay the costÂ
the hate takes overÂ
you despise yourselfÂ
you're a stranger to your own soul.Â

i wish i could write like you, i love to read but coming up with my own words and putting them on paper is really hard, how do you do it? your stunning!
Oh girl thank you haha I just write what I'm feeling. I'm better at poetry when I'm depressed it's just how I cope, find a way to use poetry to cope with something hard, something tragic, and see if that helps ? Â youll become a better writter and it will clear your mind. Good vibes ?Â

I use to self-sabbotage.....but not as much as the past. Â Tapping into my unconscious brought up areas of healing that helped build up self love for myself. Â I could identify with you poem.
