Strife and Light

Strife and Light

My world is solid and robust
I was once told,
in this category, however,
I believe I do not fall.
I am an earthly body
sharing the space with everybody,
and my solid world, by tomorrow,
may dissolve into drops
--and heavy rain will follow.
My soul is wrapped in light,
beneath the wrapping, yet,
a shadow is always in sight.
In duality we live,
It’s the natural state of life
and I must accept all the opposites
If I am to find peace and live in harmony
In this journey of strife and light.

Bernie!!! I really wish you know how good you are in understanding
and feeling and seeing with burning eyes. Very often I feel like you know
what I am trying to say, without any effort, like you just naturally do.
I thank you for taking the time and heart of being here.
Warm wishes,
B

P.S. "I like your metaphorical use of the moon almost as bad cop, good cop.
These are your words. Now you know what I am talking about, Bernie.
