Strings

Strings

I was shaken, held the hand of you.

Crying out, crying out to who?

Lead me from this place I once knew.

Listen to the waves as they crash.

I was looking down with my eyes.

I went looking down, not up.

I looked towards you.Β

Oh, heart is built of gold.

How long can we ignore, and give a little more?

Can we give our truths?

I say takin' it all in makes the good life.

But I don't feel like falling up against the sky.

So when I took your hand the angels fell down.

And you smile like you know.

A new world has been found.Β

I really really like this, I find everything so enticing.Β

"crying out for who?"

I can't decide why this is such a powerful line, maybe because it is just so relatable.

Great job
