STRINGS OF YOUR HEART

A is for Anne who floats along effortlessly,
she is always there to love me spiritually,
B is for beauty which seems to last forever,
destiny selected us to be always together.

C is for charm when she walks in the room,
radiating smile which is like a perennial bloom,
D is for delight when she's not even there,
it gave me all of the time to stand and stare.

E is for elation which gives true happiness,
caring, listening, attentive and mindfulness,
F is for feelings, placed just at the right time,
not transient but keeping us both in our prime. 

G is for grace, I only have to look at her face,
still like the old days when my heart began to race.
