A Sudden Inspiration

A Sudden Inspiration

Music of the piano

Breaks the silence

Of the cold and sleepy house

In the darkness I found her

With curiosity I gazed

Losing myself in contemplation

 Pondering from a distance

Sitting on the staircase,

Quiet as a mouse

Watching moonlight beaming on her hair

And quick movements of the hand

Sitting by the Baby Grand

At three in the morning

Why this sudden burst of inspiration?
